About mAh

An ampere hour is known as a unit of electric charge that has dimensions of electric current multiplied by time, equal to the charge transferred by a steady current of one ampere flowing for one hour. The milliampere hour (mA⋅h or mAh) is one thousandth of an ampere hour.

For example, using higher mAh batteries in a device that has constant electrical consumption will give you longer operating times.
