About Li-Polymer (Lithium Polymer)
Li-Polymer (Lithium Polymer) is a rechargeable battery of lithium-ion technology that uses polymer electrolyte instead of a liquid electrolyte. The Li-Polymer has an advantage in the sense that they can be made much thinner. Also, they don’t have from the “memory effect” which is common to NiMH and NiCd batteries.
These batteries can higher specific energy than other lithium batteries. They are also used in applications where weight is a important feature, like mobile devices.
