About Resistive touchscreen
A Resistive touchscreen is a touch-sensitive display made out of two flexible sheets covered with a resistive material and separated by an air gap.
Resistive touchscreens work by detecting direct pressure applied by the operator of the device. It can be operated by pressing it with a finger as well as with a stylus.
A resistive touch screen also has a touch layer placed over a standard display. The touch layer ordinarily includes two transparent electrical layers isolated by a small gap.
