USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a standard for a wired connection between two electronic gadgets or device, including a phone and a computer. The connection is made by a cable that has a connector at both end. One end, the one that plugs into the PC, is the same over all USB links while the one that fittings into the phone can be of different types. For example, miniUSB, microUSB or an exclusive connector.
