VGA (Video Graphics Array) is the standard display interface used in most computers. Also, if a monitor is VGA compatible, it can work with most new computers. The VGA standard was developed by IBM in 1987 and allowed for a display resolution of 640×480 pixels.

It is also one of the resolution standards used for images, videos and displays.
